I have a problem with my weight...?!


Question: I have a problem with my weight....?
SO, I usually lose weight fast when I start running, then I start looking in the mirror and think Im too skinny and I start getting more attention, which I hate...so I start eating a lot more, gaining the weight back...Its weird, its like my mind can't except me being skinner...I don't know what to do about this, should I seek psychological help..This has happened about three times now..Health Question & Answer

I started to write this long speech about loving yourself...
But I erased it because I didn't think it would have helped the situation. Maybe you should seek professional help with this one. It sounds like you have a case of emotional eating.

You over eat because you think your too skinny. Then before you know it you've gained double the weight. you get depressed and exercise like crazy getting back to your skinny self...then you over eat again because you feel your too skinny.

Sorry about this....you have to learn to love yourself. Pick a weight your confortable with and be conscious of it. And stick to that. Your going to get attention regardless of your weight. It's all in how you dress and how you carry yourself while in public.

I guarantee if you are skinny but you dress homely and you stay to yourself.....no attention will come your way. I don't think that's how you want to live the rest of your life. You must make an exception somewhere and deal with it.

I'm trying to lose the weight myself. It's slowly coming off, but at least it's going.
