OMG I just had a Starbucks...?!

Question: OMG I just had a Starbucks....?
Grande nonfat no whip decaf peppermint mocha latte, because although they dont make it sugar free, i never drink sugar and figured i deserved a treat. Plus, since it's nonfat i didn't think it would have 7 GRAMS OF FAT!!!!! AND 490 CALORIES!!!!!!! AND 60 GRAMS OF SUGAR!!!!!! OMG i feel terrible. it was my lunch so i was like, oh whatever a little sugar but i had no idea what it would be like.

and i just found out that my normal drink, a grande nonfat no whip decaf cinamon dolce latte has 7 gs of sugar. I feel terrible.
How do I stop drinking starbucks for good and help get rid of the guilt.?.?.?.? Is it ok to have a slice of pizza for dinner after that.? i'm sorry i know its irritating when people ask questions like this it seems so stupid i'm even doing this but i'm feeling really bad right now, so sorry if this is annoying to you.Health Question & Answer

Okay, don't freak out.
So as a snack, that probably is a little much for every single day.
But...
Actually, you're body can handle it every once in a while.
Contrary to popular belief, your body doesn't work like a calculator. You can be a few hundred calories above or below your maintenance caloric intake and be fine. It's called intuitive eating - there's a book I highly recommend you reading. Did you know the normal person should get about 64 grams of fat.? 10 grams isn't a whole lot.

Find freedom with food, girl. You don't have to have low-fat, low-cal everything. If you need to lose weight, talk to a doctor or dietician. But there is not single bad food. No one food will make you gain weight. There is no "junk food". So give yourself permission to eat.
Balance, variety, and moderation.
Trust your body.
Here's a good sample mealplan:

Breakfast: 2-3 grains, 1oz protein, 1-2 fats, 1 fruit
Lunch: 2-3 grains, 2-3 oz protein, 1-2 fats, 1 fruit/dessert
Dinner: 2-3 grains, 2-3 oz, protein, 1-2 fats, 1 fruit/dessert
With snacks inbetween.

I have Coldstone every once in a while, or a blizzard from Dairy Queen once in a while, and I maintain my weight perfectly (ask my dietician!).
The guilt is associated with the idea that there is a certain way to eat and you're not doing it right. Not true. Eat what you want, but with balance, variety, and moderation. It also helps to reduce overeating if you actually give yourself what you want.

Read that book too - it's a great resource to find peace with food, and maintain or lose weight (depending on what you need).Health Question & Answer

That was your lunch.?!.?!.?!.? Completely unhealthy! Why don't you wean yourself off the 'bucks, and have it at most, once a week. Start eating healthy, and no pizza does not count as being healthy. Eat lots of proteins, little carbs, lots of veggies and fruit. Water does wonders, and working out helps too.Health Question & Answer

Calm down. In my opinion it's okay to treat yourself maybe once a week or so, as long as you don' go to overboard. Just throw in an extra half-mile or so to your run today if it makes you feel so bad, and be more careful next time. It's fine.Health Question & Answer
