this completely depends on the person doing them
diamonds burn, so, start with however many you can do before collapsing. Then do less from there (because you don't want to be super sore) until you find a good # you can do 3 reps of (3 reps is the magic #)

to increase strength i suggest you lift heavier than yuour body weight if you can already do that... lift as heavy as possible and your strength will soar...
any more than 15 reps is sill. try and lift from 6 - 12 reps... if you can lift that weight for 12 reps... make it heavier until you can lift it 12 times then increase it...

you'll see results FAST!!!
