How long would it take me to lose 250 lbs?!
Question: How long would it take me to lose 250 lbs.?
If I ate healthy food, and exercised for an hour or more a day.
I'm a 17 year old female.
I tried to lose weight once. I lost 10 pounds in a week and then quit and gained it back.
Assuming I don't start eating a lot again, how long do you estimate it would take me.?
Oh and keep in mind that because I am so obese the weight drops off for me a lot faster than say, someone who was like 150 pounds.

If this is serious young lady I hope it works for your sake. Yes eating healthy food and exercise are your best plan but you mustn't over do it. I think you should take a doctors advice on what exercise and food is right for you. I wish you all the luck in the world and stick at it no matter what.Health Question & Answer
Quite awhile, I'm not sure of the exact amount of time. It'll take a lot of dedication and support. You're right, though, you'll lose weight faster than someone at 150 pounds.
By the way, I'm 17, too, and if you want someone to talk to and to support you, I'd really, really like to do that. (It's nice to talk to someone who I didn't meet on Runescape sometimes and knows me by something mroe than Knightsage5, hah Runescape's a bad habit of mine.) Well # 1 it depends on how much you weigh and why. If you seriously have no activity level then it could come off fast .....maybe 2 years.
However thats a lot of weight. It will take real commitment!! Eating healthy and having lots of activity time can help a lot but you may want to ask your doctor. :/Health Question & Answer

Don't give yourself a certain amount of time to lose that much weight or even worry about it. Just start working out and eating healthy again then estimate how long it will take after some progress. None of us here can really figure it out.Health Question & Answer
