I'm always hungry these days. What's wrong with me?!

Question: I'm always hungry these days. What's wrong with me.?
I seem to have an everlasting appetite for the last couple of days. I am even starting to drink things and eat food I don't normally eat, because I always feel like eating. In the past week, I've been spending a lot of unnecessary cash on food, and I can't stop thinking about eating. What is causing this.?

And no, I'm not pregnant or anything crazy like that. Does that even increase appetite.? What about stress.? Frustration.? .?.?.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Strees, depression, frustation, aunt flow and many many other things will do it to you. There is a difference between being hungry and your appetite. Hunger is when your stomach is growling and you know you need to eat. Appetite is mental. Its just your brain telling you you want (not need) to eat. Learn to distinguish the two. When i am hungry I eat. But when I just want to stuff something in my mouth I chew gum. I have lost weight by doing this. Before I would snack so much and now I only snack on good stuff like yogurt, fruit, veggies, water, a few pieces of chocolate ( i allow myself chocolate once a day) and thats it. I try not to over due it. Eating junk foods can get expensive. Instead of spending 3-4 dollars daily at the gas station on a soda, chips or what ever Id rather safe those 15-20 dollars and get me a shirt or something i can wear. Health Question & Answer

Working out more helps stunt your hungary long term. also, eating more fruits helps as well. Simple fruits like an apple or a few grapes have nutrients that tend to "fill up" more than other foods you can eat on the go. I suggest buying either apples, grapes, strawberries, etc. and eating 1 or 2 daily amounts before the day starts. It will keep you less hungary during the day and also give you a bit of an energy boost rather than keeping you drowsy all day. It's healthy too. hope that helpsHealth Question & Answer
