Im 5'8 and ive lost 60 pounds (GO ME!)I started out at 236 and im not at 176 ive noticed a big difference i have lost alot of fat and im getting thin but ive noticed that my hips and theighs are still pretty big and kindof stick out.Will this go away or should i be doing something.Health Question & Answer

it should go away as you continue to diet but to help boost the thinning of your legs and thighs, do a lot of leg workouts. im assuming your a female due to your mentioning of the hips so i recommend doing leg workouts with a low weight and high repetitions. heavy weights are for bulking up, light weights are good for toning. leg workouts also get your heart rate going which in turn, makes you lose weight and is one of the best ways to reduce the size of the "pooch". You should do cardio exercises to get rid of the fat in the hips and thighs. I heard that is the only way to accomplish this goal. I know it seems hard, I have the same problem too, but my weight is fine. So, just do more cardio exercise, like running for five miles per week on the treadmill.Health Question & Answer
