BMI is an outdated system that is not very accurate on its own. Basic BMI calculators do not take into account the size of your frame, whether you are very curvy or not, weight distribution and muscle mass, etc.

No one can tell you your ideal weight over the internet, you need to ask your doctor or school nurse.

More importantly, are you comfortable with yourself, and do you feel healthy.? Do you eat right and exercise.? These are more important than what the scale says, as someone who is athletic can easily weigh more than someone who is not, but they are in better shape.

But if you need the reassurance, you sound fine to me. If you want to get into better shape, don't use any drugs, none of them are proven to work, and many are not regulated. Plus, you need to adjust your lifestyle to be healthier so you can keep the weight off. You don't need to go crazy with exercise, either; even 3 times a week is a big help. Health Question & Answer

According to the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute your Body mass index (BMI) is 26.4. A BMI between 25 and 30 is considered overweight, with obesity at 30 or higher. A BMI of between 18.5 and 24.9 is said to be normal.

After plugging in a few numbers, the LEAST you could weigh to be considered of "normal weight" is 108 lbs. The most: 145 lbs.

But as for perfection.? That's going to be different for everyone. Health Question & Answer

Check your BMI

I am 24yrs old, 167 lbs... I feel overweight when I get on the scale.. being that all my girlfriends are between 115-130.

But if you look at me, I look average. I do blame the weight on having a solid body.. muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat.
I checked my BMI and it confirmed my thoughts... I am not overweight.. phew!Health Question & Answer
