Does anyone know how I can tone my stomach muscles besides doing situps and crunches?!

Question: Does anyone know how I can tone my stomach muscles besides doing situps and crunches.?
Answers:
There are plenty of variations of traditional sit ups and crunches such as bicycle crunches, crunches with other kinds of twisting motion, or crunches using a medicine ball or weights, but I'm guessing you've exhausted those possibilities.

Anything that challenges your balance will work your core (abs and back too), so standing on one foot, for example, will work your abdominal muscles. So will doing exercises on a stability ball, bosu ball, or other uneven surface. Going for a hike on uneven terrain will work your balance too. Yoga and Pilates are both excellent at working your core. Since I don't know what kind of equipment you have, I would suggest you search for exercises you can do with whatever you have: gym equipment, access to fitness videos/DVDs, or just household items.

The link below is map of the human body (there's a male one too if you just change the URL) where you can click on the body part, and it'll give you exercises you can do to target that muscle group. Health Question & Answer

A healthy diet is so important for getting nice abs. If that's not an issue and you just want new ab exercises, try doing pilates. Those exercises work your core muscles (which includes your abs).Health Question & Answer
