What is a more healthy lunch choice for before my run/exercise?!

Question: What is a more healthy lunch choice for before my run/exercise.?
I just woke up
so at 11 am i'm giong to have lunch
after lunch, i'm running 4.5 miles, crunches all ways, arm toning exercises, some leg lifts.
so I need good energy.

choices=

1. 1 cup whole wheat pasta and 30 cal healthy sauce with it. 6 slices of turkey breast (60 cal), one pear, one small apple, and some type of healthy dessert (healthy organic cookies or a granola bar..either would be 100 calories)
so that total would be about 550 calories in all.

or
2. veggie burger on light bread (200 cal), organic pretzels serving (130 cal), one pear, one small apple, and one granola bar.
total would be about 580 calories

either is healthy I know. but I want to know what is healthier for a run and will be easier to digest. I know pasta is known for runners to eat, but honestly, im not running 10 miles here hahah.

I just want to know what is healthier choice.
please help me out and tell me WHY you are choosing whatever answer.
hah, thanks

oh im 17, 5'5'', and 110-113 lbs if that helps any.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
i agree with the first person, but you should switch out your desert for some veggies. Like two handfuls that way you got two servings there. The cals wont affect your weight and the cals dont matter when it comes to meat or veggies since they are pure protien anyway. it doesnt matter if you run 10 miles or not, you need the energy and thats all that matters. what exactly is 'light bread'.? do you mean white, or whole wheat, grain.?.? you need to focus on eating lots of grains, veggies and fruit. meat is also great. cut out the pretzels if you choose the 2nd choice. i recommend the first, its more balanced and has less junk in it. if you really want the pretzels, have like 3. dont forget to drink like 2 bottles of water before you workout, or drink 2 8oz sizes before, 2 8oz sizes during your workout and maybe another 2 after. it will fill you up and keep you going. eat a banana or some kind of fruit after, along with a piece of bread within an hour after working out. Health Question & Answer

Either is good. Both have a good amount of carbs, vitamins. However if you're being picky i'd say the pasta as the turkey contains protein which is good for muscle growth and repair, which could be useful as a runner.Health Question & Answer
