Some people say that if you eat fish and then drink milk it could cause food poisoning. Is that true?!

I have always heard that the iodine, in fish, and milk don't mix. I learned the hard way when I was pregnant and ate tuna and drank milk. Now whenever I eat any kind of seafood, I don't drink milk or eat any dairy products for at least 24 hours.Health Question & Answer

Food poisoning does not mean literally there is a poison in the food. What is meant by them is that it is not the right way of taking food. Anything subjected to heat and cold simultaneously have the potential to destroy that substance, or in other words does not make that substance strong. Same treatment on body is considered harmful by them. Fish is considered heat producing when eaten and milk is considered as giving cooling effect to the body. And whatever having such potential is a capable factor in the process of building of the body and does various other beneficial functions in the body but giving a negative impact to the body due to wrong usage.
