What are some natural ways of increasing my B12 intake?!
Question: What are some natural ways of increasing my B12 intake.?
I recently turned 25 and went to the doctor for a full physical. Blood tests showed that I was VERY low on Folate and B12. I was prescibed Folic Acid to make up for the low Folate, but my doctor said the only way I can take care of the low B12 problem is to get a shot of it every month....for the rest of my life!!! That CAN"T be right.?...Right.? I even asked if there's food I can eat and change my eating habits to fix this and she said, "No." Now it is just me or does that sound a little extreme and rediculous.? Maybe i'm wrong, but there HAS to be another way......Health Question & Answer

Some homeopathic companies make a B12 complex supplement. I know Shaklee does this, but as far as I'm aware, they function similarly to Avon in that they do not have product in stores and you must order through a representative.

Supplements. Sometimes our bodies can't naturally receive the vitamins/minerals we need from our food, that's why supplements were created.
