both are great another thing your not acknowledging though is fiber! oatmeal has a good amount of fiber..obviously the kashi has more protein which is great but really i've had both for breakfast and i stay satisfied just as long no matter which one i eat...one difference though...I stick with regular quacker oatmeal and add half of an apple chopped up, brown sugar and cinnamon sooo delicious and all the fiber fills me up and keeps me satisfied. But again both great healthy choices...just eat what you feel like eating that particular morning!Health Question & Answer

if u get the plain oat meal it's only 100 calories if it's original.

Neither of these is healthy. Nutritionally speaking, you would seriously be better off eating garbage directly from the can than either of these choices. Go with fresh fruit at every opportunity.Health Question & Answer
