There is not a thing wrong with your size, so stop thinking that you're fat. That is peer pressure and the media making you think that way. Too many girls your age are doing this.

Secondly, there are some doctors that would say okay to anything to make a buck, or who are fake doctors. There's that one guy who recently had to flee the country (but that doesn't stop companies from using him as a "credible" source) for giving insanely dangerous advise. It's probable you've seen those 35 percent hydrogen peroxide food grade ads... yep, he did those. So, be quite cautious about the doctor.

I'd say no, most shakes are disgusting (you're talking to the guy whos had soooo many different brands of shakes - the only ones ive found somewhat edible are monster milk and muscle milk but those are different to what you want). Real meals (albeit healthy) and just smaller portions more frequently with plenty of water will keep your wallet much bigger and lose the same amount of fat. I gurantee it. Mix that with excersize and you're golden.

I know that isn't the response you wanted to hear, but trust me, it's the only way ot go.

EDIT: Bread and water.? Carbs = sugars and bread consists primarily of carbs. If you really wanted to lose weight very quickly youd take a good multivitamin daily and eat nothing but unflavored chicken and broccoli. The fat will flop off and you'll preserve any toned look you either have now or will have once you've lost the fat. I'm sorry, but you shouldn't. Those dieting shakes, pills or whatever are only designed for them to get money. And also, the doctors MAY be doctors, but who is to say they don't work for that company and don't get paid heaps of money to say those things.?

It is best that you eat a balanced diet (2 fruits and 5 veggies) along with food containing good fats.

Tell you what, I'm currently on a diet too, and I've lost over 1Kg in a week. I eat 2 fruit and 5 veggies a day. I make sure I eat fish at least 3 times a week and other foods which contains fats that are good for you. also, drinking lots of water (8 glasses per day, there's that boring old saying again BUT it's TRUE!) and instead of that shake, why not drink a warm glass of water with freshly sqeezed lemon juice in it.? It helps with weight loss trust me.

You can always go to google.com and search for the lemon diet. I'm sure you'll find it very inspiring and helpful.

No waste of time and money. Put it this way do you plan on eating this crap fr the rest of your life. No no one would so do it right.

I started eating a big salad with my dinner eaver night. Nothing else changed.

I found that I started not wanting all the potato, bla bla bla carb stuff as much and over a couple of month I have lost 6kg. On the odd couple of days I have blown it and eaten badly but I seem to be on the downward track.

So based on this and the pretty common word in the world eat more veggies (particularly green leafy stuff) and less red meat and processed foods.

Not only that, I heard that green leafy vegies do a much better job of improving your skin than all the expensive creams that chicks buy. (I am a guy so would know about that)

Oh the other thing I do is eat porridge for breakfast.

No, you should for a fruit and veggies diet. Makes you full, less calories and a variety of food.
