Question: Does this maybe sound like an eating disorder.?
i eat about 900-1000 calories a day. sometimes i will eat a little over 1000 (1200 is the highest i've gone), but when i do i feel terrible and classify it as a 'bad' food day. i've been like this for about a month, maybe 3 weeks at least. however, im still at a healthy weight with a bmi of around 20. i have classified all foods into good and bad categories and won't eat any of the ones on the bad list (eg, i wont eat ice cream, anything with 10 gs of fat, things made with white flour instead of whole wheat, etc). i have noticed that my bones are more visible (you can see my ribs without me sucking in and my back and shoulders look kinda boney). i used to be someone who was always too warm but lately i'm always, always cold, even when others aren't. i've noticed a decrease in energy and i've had trouble sleeping. also, my glands are sometimes sore or swollen, with no explanation for this. i excercise for at least 1 hr 20 mins a day 6 days a week. i am so scared of gaining weight. i count every calorie that goes in my mouth and feel incredibly nervous if i eat something that i don't have the exact calorie count for.
do you think it sounds like i have a disorder, or am i just weight conscious.? if it does, which one does it sound like i have.?

yeah sista you do... i used to be like that and life was PATHETIC. the ribs are a bad sign. i used to think they were cool but then my freinds were like "ARE THOSE YOUR F***ING RIBS!*!*!*!*!". also, did you know that self starvation leads to no hormones (which means you'll have no sexual orientation or desire) which sucks so bad and has kept me single. try this.
you MUST, MUST, MUST eat 2000 calories each day you excersize. if you dont, no excersize allowed. (i lasted only a week without excersize, i had to eat....muslces were dissaperaring...)
if you keep starving yourself your metabolism will slow down and you'll get fat. if you eat approx. 2000calories per day you'll be SAFE!!!
also, if you eat more you'll get a bigger boob size... i used to have no fatty tissue at all and mine were tiny. not attractive at all. not worth the starvation.
use food as a reward, like "I GOT AN A ON MY MATH TEST!!! IM GOING TO EAT ICECREAM!" or "I RAN 3 MILES TODAY, I DESERVE A CHEESE BURGER!!!"
use google to find the exact calorie counts. i still count the crap out of my calories but they all add up to 2000!!! and now thats what im counting for!!! over 2500 is a "bad" day and i just eat 1500 the next to make up! and im way better looking now and always not-hungry.Health Question & Answer

I was just where you were (only way worse plus I'm only a kid!) Trust me you do and change your ways before it's to late. If you exclude certain foods out of your diet, next time you eat them your gonna eat a crap loud of it, thats how most people gain the weight back. Just eat more, 1,200 should be your minimun.

I was worse though. I only comsumed 100-390 calorise everyday and I kept it a secret! I almost died, my ribs still show cuz what I did, I had so many shots and hospitals, please don't put yourself through all that!Health Question & Answer

i think you're beyond just being weight conscious. you're on your merry way to a weight disorder. if you say it's only been going for about a month, please stop now. it sounds like you're already quite skinny, so why are you continuing this.? just stop it, or get some help to stop by consulting a trusted friend, parent/s, teacher, or someone you trust. ask them to help you get back in shape, since, sorry man, being underweight is just as unhealthy as being overweight (if not more). don't exercise so much!! to exercise for 1hr and 20 min and still be healthy you gotta eat waaay more calories than that.

anorexia is a brain disorder, since the problem is that the person can stop anytime they'd like but they can't bring their will to actually do that. don't let this get too far!!! stop while you still can manage a will to stop. if you think overweight people look bad and that's why you're afraid of "gaining weight," i can assure you anorexia isn't pretty either.Health Question & Answer
