I need help basically?!


Question: I need help basically.?
It seems like to get 6 pack abs you need to be skinny..But How the hell do i see these big strong guys with big arms , shoulders, and strong chests have 6 pack abs and not be skinny.? I been reading somewhat on bulking and cutting and Im so confused on what to do. Im 5'9 187 and things have ben coming along good, i shoulda worked harder honestly. But Im just confused on what to do, I want big arms, chest, shoulders and 6 pack abs like you seem them dudes on tv have. I dont know if i need to bulk up and eat like a maniac with the right foods to get the bigness of the arms then cut like run and do crunches later on.. I dont wanna be skinny but yet i want to bulk these arms and shoulders up and get a strong chest with 6 pack abs, what do I need to do.? CAN SOMEONE GUIDE ME STEP BY STEP.? like tell me if i need to eat a whole lot and lift like a maniac and then focus on running and and crunches and stuff.?

In my opinion, the best way to do it is to bulk and cut. ie. A bulk is where you eat over your maintenance calories in order to build muscle, and usually you will put on a small amounts of fat as well. A cut is where you eat below maintenance calories to lose bodyfat, whilst trying to preserve muscle. Trying to get bigger muscles and a 6 pack at the same time is very difficult. So I'd bulk for 5-6 months, then cut until you're happy with your bodyfat percentage.

Sample diet for a bulk:

Meal 1: 4 eggs, 2 wholemeal toast, piece of fruit
Meal 2: Handful of nuts, piece of fruit
Meal 3: Wholewheat pasta, chicken, pesto and veg
Meal 4: Peanut butter wholewehat bagel, pint of whole milk.
Meal 5: Brown rice, salmon, mixed veg.
Meal 6: Greek yoghurt and berries

Chuck in more nuts, fruit, whole milk, protein shakes etc. if you feel you need more calories.

Sample diet for a cut:

Meal 1: 4 eggs, bowl of oats with berries
Meal 2: Large handful of nuts
Meal 3: Mackerel/salmon with loads of salad
Meal 4: Chicken breast with loads of veg, and a handful of nuts
Meal 5: Red meat with loads of veg and olive oil
Meal 6: Cottage cheese/quark with a handful of berries, and 3 tsps peanut butter

im 18 6 foot and about 220 im just getting my first pack inand yes im kind of that buffer guy thats getting ripped... its all about eating protein like boiled chicken baked salmon and killing your abs daily with sit ups its just about your build of your body i have ways to lose muscle mass and such to be a smaller guy and be ripped lolHealth Question & Answer

you probably need to research what types of foods to eat, not just a lot of food, and you could buy a tub of that vitamin bulk-up supplemen that you mix in your drinks from the healthy store, that makes it so each work out is more effective i guessHealth Question & Answer
