Question: How quickly can i lose 6lbs.?
i have gained 6lbs in a week because i have been bingeing. my bmi has gone from 14.9 to 15.9. i feel very depressed because of this and plan to lose this weight as quickly as possible. this is my calorie plan for the next week
today - 128kcal, burn 800
friday - 103kcal, burn 400 minimum
saturday - 0kcal, burn 500 minimum
sunday - 0kcal, burn 400 minimum
monday - 103kcal, burn 700
tuesday - 186kcal, burn 700
wednesday - 128kcal, burn 800

how quickly can i lose 6lbs.? i think i have some water/food/**** weight in me. the last time i binged i went from 104 - 110 in a week and when i regained control i lost 6lbs in 3 days. does that sound likely.? i refuse to be fatter than 95lbs by xmas. i am so angry at myself. and yes before you say, i do have an eating disorder, i refuse to get help this fat, please answer with any predictions of how quickly i can lose weight i would appreciate it very much, thank youHealth Question & Answer

Hi, sorry to hear about this, I've been binging too, frickin holiday season. You're very right about having water/food weight in you- water weight can make the scale show an extra 1 or 2 kg in my experience (and make you LOOK chubby), and so can food weight, so this 6lbs is definitely not all permanent. To begin with, you might want to take fibre pills/psyllium husk or something that will help get the food out of you and clean you out to at least make you feel lighter and keep you motivated (not laxatives, that might be too harsh for this and they're generally not good). For the water retention, try dandelion tea or diuretic pills (with dandelion root in them), they really work for me! Or just drink a looooot of water to make you tinkle out all your retained water, or sweat!

As for the rest of the weight, I am not sure how long it might take to lose it in since maybe as much as half of it is food or water, so I am not sure how much fat you really have to lose! But since 1lb is 3000kcal's worth of food, I guess eating 1,500kcal below your normal, break-even intake daily (so maybe 500kcal a day.?) will mean you can lose 1lb of pure fat each 2 days. I wouldn't suggest going lower than 500kcal a day, for example into negative calories, since this is more likely to make you binge. I wouldn't be surprised if the scale showed you as 6lbs less within 4 days. But still, weight is just a number, so concentrate on getting back into a controlled (sustainable!) eating pattern and looking good again, and not worrying about numbers, which no one sees anyway.

omg.i know exatally what you mean. that use to happen to me all the time.
but now my matabolism is so slow, that i can hardly eat.
i weigh 95. i use to weigh 106.
and i lost the weight from not eating a whole day, eating dinner. then throwing it up.

im not saying you should do it.
in fact. its stupid. because then you can hardly eat at all.

Your BMI is way way tooooooo low at the minute! Don't do anything silly like your menu above! Your better just watching what you eat and increasing your exercise! But you really don't need to LOOSE anymore weight! I think thats the reason you put on so 6lbs very quickly as your body weight is toooo low!! Well you could lose it in a max of a week and a half.... but i dont think you should... bbe i really do think you should go into recovery you know or you should get down to 95lbs and stay there promiss your self you wont get above or BELOW it....
Please get some sort of help or at least get to a constant weight
