Did I eat healthy today to maintain my weight?!


Question: Did I eat healthy today to maintain my weight.?
Today is my day off of exercise (I run 5 miles, 200 crunches, leg lifts, pilates 5 times a week. Plus 2-3 days of strength training.)

I am 17, 5'5'', and yesterday I weighed 109.8 lbs which is basically 110 lbs.

Did I eat healthy so far today.? Will I gain weight from this.?
I woke up late so no breakfast.

Lunch (11:30 am)
-lean turkey wrap on 90 cal whole wheat wrap with a little reduced fat shredded cheese. (I was told I need to add more fat in my diet so I did with this reduced fat cheese.) --180 cal

-Serving of organic pretzels --140 cal

-one Pear, one small apple, a few grapes--180 cal

-3 organic abigail's cookies --80 cal

That is 580 calories so far.
It is 1 pm.
So maybe about 3 pm I will have a kashi granola bar (140 cal)

That will get me to about 720 calories.


For dinner I was thinking of having
3 oz of tilapia (90 cal), 1/2 cup brown rice (150 cal), Pear, Kiwi, 1 cup steamed veggies.

That will get me up about 1150 calories. but I'm sure its 1200 cause I miscalculated probably.
Is this healthy.?

Answers:
It's a bit low. 1200 is the min you should eat for weight loss, but something more around 1500 - 1700 is better. You have to consume 3500 more calories than you burn, to gain 1 lb of fat. Considering that your body burns calories 24 hrs a day, you have to eat a fair amount of calories to gain weight (although some of us find that easy to do! LOL!)

No you definitely wont gain any weight. What is not enough calories to gain any pounds.You 5'5" and only 110 lbs. You must be skinny. For your height you should be at least 140 lbs. You young, you should eat more. at least 2000 cal. a day. Your body still growing and by lowering cal. intake you slowing down this process. Wow, I don't have to do math to stay thin. I just jog and do not eat slovenly, and I certainly do not have to do 200 crunches a day to maintain a flat stomach, oh-well some people have to put a lot of effort into very easy things.Health Question & Answer
