okay so i'm like 5'8" , 150lbs and 14 years old.Everyone tells me its just because i have bigger bones, but i dont care i've decided i really wanna get down to 135 lbs by march. I have an eliptical but thats really it, what should i do to lose the 15lbs i wanna lose.?Health Question & Answer

First of all your BMI, body mass index, is 24. Therefore you are at a normal healthy weight as far as that scale is concerned, and you should have nothing to worry about.
But obviously you are looking to lose weight anyway. So with that being said, typically seeing that you are fourteen I am guessing that you eat fast food and drink a lot of soft drinks.
Quick bit of info,it takes 3500 calories to gain one pound of fat

1) Cut out all soft drinks and fast food. One can of coke contains 110 calories, if you drink 2 cokes everyday, in a years time you will have gained 23lbs in one year( 110 cal X 2cokes a day=220 cal X 365 days= 80,300 calories Divided by 3500

2) Cut out all fast food from your diet. Nothing good comes from fast food, NOTHING.

3) First thing in the morning stretch and take a minimum of a ten minute jog before you eat anything, studies have shown first thing in the morning is when your body is most primed to burn fat.

4) Do not eat after 8 o clock at night

hi you only have a little bit of weight to lose so its defnitely possible to do it healthily by march. i suggest you read Patrick Holfords 'optimun Nuitrion forthe brain' its in most bookstores or on amazon. if you google patrick holford you'll find out more. anyway if you follow his advice you'll lose weight and get healthy. try taking up some activity you enjoy, swimming, jogging dancing, even walking with your ipodis good. justbe healthy your very young and you need to look after yourself. and incase you get carried away with weight loss i suggest you look up the side effects of anorexia on wikipedia. enlargement of the brain ventricles, caused by anorexia is the same brain abnormality found in schizophrenics. anorexia causes brain damage and lowers your IQ. so be healthy and you will lose the weight easily and for life. good luck!Health Question & Answer

Eat 1200 calories a day of healthy foods, and get at least an hour a day of some kind of excersize- the more you excersize the faster you'll see results.
