Alright i just started going to the gym with my friend cause we both wanna get more fit. i am 6 feet 5 inches and weigh 255 i have a big frame. my weight is suppose to be 230-210 so says the weight chart. do this is what my friend and i do in the gym we start off with 5 minutes on the bike then we start on the machines we mostly do arms and chest for about half and hour then to finish up we ride for 15 mins on the bike we do this 4 days in the week about 1 hour a day. now is this good enough for me to lose weight and gain muscle.?Health Question & Answer

this is a good start well done men just continue and you will improve your way ahead . my advise to you just eat a small snack before heading to the gym with 2 hours and your body will burn more and will not sore after workout and try to increase the time you spend in each equipment of the gym with 10 -15 % every time you go to give your body the endurance and try weight lifting it will help you strength your muscles and build it .

It's a good workout. I would focus more on building muscle, which will help your metabolism. Don't just do arms and chest, do legs, and back, and really make sure you're lifting heavy. maybe use the free weights instead of just machines. You're fine on cardio.
