it takes time... obviously you know you have to eat well, figure out which veggies you like the best, start by adding more of those to your diet. fruit is healthy also, however there are more sugars in fruits that make it more difficult to lose weight. smarter choices when eating out also make a difference such as choosing the grilled chicken over the fried chicken, etc. look up things that have little to no calories, when i was dieting i put yellow mustard on practically everything to make things i didnt really like taste better, and mustard has no calories. it helps to buy veggies, like bags of baby carrots, and portion them out as soon as you get them so it's easier to grab them on the go. also, EAT WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY. i am a cheerleading coach and i tell my girls this all the time- you are more prone to overeating if you deprive yourself. same goes for treats. try to avoid sweets and unhealthy snacks at all costs but if you need one, go for it. just don't overdo it. i allowed myself one hershey kiss per day =] as far as the working out goes, find something you like to do, and remember that muscle weighs more than fat so if it's more of a strength training program that interests you, you may not lose as much weight on the scale but you'll be able to tell by the way your clothes fit & how you look. good luck =]Health Question & Answer
