Good cardio to do in the morning?!


Question: Good cardio to do in the morning.?
here's the deal, I'm going to start working out again, just because I've been kind of a slacker, I need some cardio to do in the mornings, I have a treadmill, a wii, some weights, a hula hoop, and that's about it.

I cannot run because it hurts my knees like no other.

Ideas.?

also what should I eat for breakfast after.? I don't eat eggs or meat.Health Question & Answer

I have an artificial hip so I can't run or do anything that puts a lot of pressure on it. I purchased a mini trampoline and have started doing my cardio on that. I really like it (as much as anyone likes exercise), and it doesn't hurt my joints at all. There are lots of things you can do to change things up and you'll burn a lot of calories. I bought the Urban Rebounder, but there are many others available at sporting goods store. I liked the rebounder because it's a little bigger around and it has a stability bar that you can attach to it to hold onto when your first beginning. I try and eat something with some protein in it. I buy whole grain bread and have toast with a little dab of peanut butter. There are cereals available that are high in protein also. Oatmeal of other hot cereal is good and you can add some protein powder to it. I usually add some vanilla protein powder and it's good. Be creative. You don't always have to have breakfast food. My nieces like to eat soup for breakfast. Go figure. Good luck in your endeavor.Health Question & Answer
