Question: What is an example of a healthy three hour diet that is full of nutrients and that i can follow everyday.?
this is an example of wat i ate today. breakfast-3/4 cup of honey bunches of oats (almond kind) with 1 cup of skim milk. lunch-sandwich, /w mayo pepperoni, cheese, turkey, and spinach. for a drink, i had capri sun. dinner-1 cup fried rice, rice was washed, and fried/w olive oil and had small pieces of gizzard and mixed vegetables . I eat this way everyday. I know its not a good diet because i feel like i am not getting enough nutrients in my body I am currently switching doctors. Thats y came to yahoo answers to look for professional help. I am trying to lose weight. i know how much too eat, how many calories to eat, but not exactly what to eat. btw i don't eat junk food or foods high in fat. no simple carbs either. i am a very picky eater. i am trying to lose weight. I drink water, chocolate soy milk, and capri sun HELP, i am very confused.Health Question & Answer

Your food doesn't look bad, but here are some tips:
I'd say you're missing out on fruits and vegetables and whole grains.
Make your breads whole grain and your rice- brown rice. Have some instant oatmeal breakfast some days. Include some apples, oranges, bananas, carrots, celery, etc in your lunches & breakfast. also fortified OJ at breakfast.
fyi: mayonnaise and pepperoni are both high in fats.
and Capri Sun is liquid simple carbs, not much substance there.

Your choice of milk is good and spinach in sandwich is a great idea!
Don't forget a daily multi-vitamin :)

A Balanced diet should consists of 60% Carbs (Mostly complex) and 40% Proteins. You should consume about 2200 calories a day and 10% of this i.e. 220 cal should come from Fats. of this 220 cals 30% should be from saturated fats. I am pretty much in the same boat as you. I wanted to lose a good chunk of weight, and I wanted healthy, inexpensive, good tasting food. After looking around for a long time, I found that most peoples suggestions were just ideas on how to make small meals which will leave you starving. Well, I have been dieting for three weeks now, and I know a great place to get information on low calorie dinners which taste great! And they leave you stuffed to boot!

I currently live in Norway, so the prices will be in Norwegian Kroner. The US is typically cheaper than Norway though, and I do my best to give American brands on all the food I use as well.

In March, I will move back to California, and will be able to REALLY pump out some good dishes that you can easily buy and make in the US.

All the food I list is easy to make, even for someone that can't cook, and the dinners are VERY low in calories. Nearly every meal I make is less than 550 calories per person, and that doesn't mean you eat two spoons of rice and half a chicken breast.

just eat anything thats organic
if u dont knoe wat that it,but i hope you do but since like half the people that i noe dont noe wat it is,organic is food thats grown w/ out the use of chemicals,say like a carrot,regular carrots, they spray them w/ chemicals or fertilizers to kill bugs, which thats really bad for you,but organic they dont spray nothing, and like milk or any kinda meat, they inject like this stuff that makes the animals grow bigger and faster and thats really bad for you toHealth Question & Answer
