Question: I want to loose weight and improve my diet help!.?
um yea anywayz i am 12 turning 13 and i want to loose weight and improve my diet. I am not over weight or anything i just afraid of gaining weight. I am not used to having fruit or water but i am trying to have it more often. I skip breakfast. My diet isn't too good.

can anyone share some diet ideas and weight loss ideas like how often i should go for walks and stuff like that.

If you often skip breakfast & other major meals, you are going to suffer from anorexia if you're not being careful.. I'm 12 going 13 too, and yeah, most of us aren't so confident about our healthiness, especially us girls. If you're on a diet, it doesn't mean you have to skip meals.

To maintain body weight (or lose weight, if you're a little fat, or gain SOME weight if you're too underweight), you have to exercise regularly, whether it's going to the gym, jogging/biking at the park or swimming. Eat healthily, avoid foods with high sugar/salt/fat/calorie content such as fast food, soda, sweets, chocolate (but dark chocolate is OK, it is lower in fat since it doesn't have much milk content in it), etc.

Fill up on fruits and vegetables, they contain fibre and nutrients, but low in calories, so you'll get your stomach filled up in no time while eating less. Plain water is fine enough, too much juice, soda and fizz drinks can result in a high sugar content in your blood. Mindless snacking is also bad, if your snacks consist of potato chips, sweets, etc. Change them to something more healthier, like fruits.

Your weight consciousness at this teenage is very very appreciable.But you haven't given your present weight and why you are worried for a weight loss.It is better for your age to think of controlling your weight instead of reducing it. Well, you're only 12. You're still growing so don't cut back too much.
You MUST eat breakfast. I know it can be hard. I had to force myself to start eating breakfast but you really will feel better throughout your day.
Don't eat anything after 3 & 1/2 hours before you go to bed.
Get yourself a food group poster or chart to put in your room or a smaller one & put it on your fridge.

You have to eat breakfast in order to stay healthy. Make sure to eat a good breakfast with some protien within an hour after waking up. also try to eat more fruits and veggies instead of things like chips and other foods that aren't plants.
