Is eating oatmeal all day bad for you? ?!


Question: Is eating oatmeal all day bad for you.? .?
I want to do kind of a very very strict diet but the only healthy food i can stand to eat all day or everyday for that matter is oatmeal but on tv they always say to not eat others things is unhealthy but they didn't say anything about oatmeal so i was just curious. IF i eat oatmeal all day everyday for maybe..........2 months would i feel faint or unhealthy.? i want a STRICT diet but i dont want to do it the unhealthy way.Health Question & Answer

Wow thats so crazy! I just asked that same question, either look in my questions or type it in the "search for questions" I think I said "is oatmeal bad for you.?" I have two different accounts, might not be on this one. Anyway, take it from me. I started eating oatmeal everyday/allday kinda. I started about 8 months ago, & recently read in a book that it isn't that good for you, & it can either activate something that can cause serious damage to your body, or de-activate something that prevents damage to your body. I read it in "150 healthiest foods on earth" Anyway, I stopped eating it, I was eating w/soy milk & heard terrible things about that too, so I just stopped eating oatmeal.

And some one from my church is a doctor, he said If you eat a lot of 1 thing all the time, your body collects way too much of the same kinds of vitamins & nutrients & it can build up in your body & become bad (maybe.?) anyway, that kind of talk is scary. so I just don't do oatmeal anymore. & I'm the kinda guy that seriously picks a list of foods & eats them every day (I'm on a strict diet myself.) & now it sucks cause I have to learn to change it up.

I eat salmon & chicken everyday

I have a blender, & I mix this stuff up, I will tell u what it is. Its amazing for skin, I have acne & it helps it big time. Actually I think its responsible for completely clearing my skin & making it Glow.

I get a blender & do the following

Bok Choy
Celery
2 apples
1 cup of water

& I alternate putting these vegitables in 1 different one each day:

Endive
Escarole
Kale

& I always put nuts in it, they are from the health food store (trader joes) $5/bag, pretty cheap.

Brazil nuts
Hazle nuts
& flax seed (Flax is only $2/bag)

Anyway, that stuff is good for me & fills me up pretty good too.
