How much should my heart rate be in order for me to burn fat?!

Question: How much should my heart rate be in order for me to burn fat.?
Is there a way to calculate the optimum heart rate for fat burn according to my age and weight.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
The optimum heart rate is obviously the highest you can reasonably get to.

The "fat burning" range is actually quite low. If you really want to see results, do intense cardio.Health Question & Answer

The first answer is nonsense, they're obviously clueless.

Heart rate isn't really a factor for losing weight. There are dozens of other factors that are more important. Your calorie intake vs calorie burn is the most important.

You will burn the same amount of fat walking for 2-3 hours as you would running for 1.

You could also run a marathon and not lose any weight if you eat too much in that day. Monitor your calories and look up calorie counts for different exercises. 3500 = approximately one pound.

Hope that helps.Health Question & Answer

The most effective way to burn fat is to eat less food and workout more, the problems appear when we really try to put that into operation! There are lots of stumbling blocks in the real world aren't there.?! The sole thing which really worked for me is wu-yi tea, it can be viewed in the resource box below, they have a small number of free trials left, it has been highlighted in Reader's Digest and CNN. I melted away twenty pounds, it really does work!Health Question & Answer

well burning fat is an interesting way to put it. what about burning carbs.? That's where people lose focus. Don't say you want to burn this or that, just focus on burning calories.
The best thing to do is lower your caloric intake and do cardio and try and keep your heart rate in a range of 115 - 130 bpm for about 30 - 45 min 6 days a week.Health Question & Answer
