instead of food durring your meals, eat soup. its light and yummy. especially won ton soup!!!! :) Another thing is, no sugar drinks!!! just water. try to walk places more often. no snacking!!!! if thats almost impossible for u (it is for me) then start out with 2 low calorie snacks a day. and no more than that

write down everything you eat. it makes you realize how much you're eating.
also, eat everything in portions. instead of taking the full bag of chips, put some in a small bowl and put the bag away.

There is not an easy route. Just learn to fuel your body with foods it needs and give it enough exercise daily.


A couple tips that I've learned is:

*Eat several small meals through the day and make sure to eat when you are hungry. Your metabolism will thank you.

*Eat snacks and meals high in protein and fiber, but low in fats and sugars. Protein and fiber makes you feel fuller for longer.

*Drink an 8 ounce glass of water right before you start eating, it will trick your brain into thinking you are more full then you actually are.

*Drink tea. Tea speeds up your metabolism and curbs your appetite for a little while after you drink it. and besides, it is really good for you. Full of antioxidants and flavonoids - which both help ward off illness.

*Make sure you are doing strength training as well as cardio. More muscles burns more fat. period.

*Don't take away everything you love. I like to be good all week. Monday thru Friday I work out and eat right. And the weekends.? I take them off. I keep things reasonable, but I don't worry about counting calories or working out. Just have fun!

*And one more thing - try not to allow your daily caloric intake to go under 1200 at the very least. If you do that for too long your body will get used only needed less calories and will cause a lot of problems in the future if you ever fall off your diet and exercise regimen.Health Question & Answer
