I love exercising but I have a hard time eating healthy..?!

Question: I love exercising but I have a hard time eating healthy...?
I exercise all of the time, but my problem is eating right. I love pizza, mac n cheese, doritos, etc. I have a hard time giving these things up! I know it's all in moderation but does anyone have any suggestions.? Healthy alternatives.? or recipes that taste good and are good for you.?Health Question & Answer

You have to decide which is more important to you...eating yummy junk food (I love it too!) or taking off the weight and keeping it off.?

To lose weight and keep it off (which is key!) you have to make a lifestyle change. That means that yummy junkfood can only be an occasional treat, not part of your regular eating plan...ever again. I do find, that I enjoy those no-nos more though, when I eat them less frequently. They truly do become a 'treat'.

As for recipies and alternatives, I suggest you check out the hungrygirl.com website. There are tons of recipies there that are swaps for higher calorie/higher fat options that people often go for (lots of ones are based on menu items in popular restaraunts). You can really get some good ideas AND start learning how to make healthier substitutions in your daily life...such as a low carb wheat tortilla instead of a regular white tortilla...soy milk instead of whole milk...lowfat cheese instead of regular cheese...mashed cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes...etc.

You can eat chicken breast, eggs, tuna, fish all these taste good and are healthy also add some veggies to your diet.. If your exercising and eating all those junk food such as pizza big mac and fried food your wasting your time, You better not even goin to gym at all cuz you just waste your time if you keep eating all junk no matter how much you exercise the food that you eat is more important than your workout.. So no good stuff for now.. lolHealth Question & Answer
