Too little of things you need nutritionally can adversely affect your health. A healthy, well-balanced diet includes all those things.
Too few carbs and you'll notice your energy level decrease. I've done the Atkins diet more than once (terribly unhealthy!) and especially initially, I stayed tired. Workouts were a huge chore. My body had no quick energy to use.
Not enough protein, is bad. Protein is what builds muscle (or a big part).
You can look up online what lack of any of those things can do to the body. I'm not a doctor or nutritionist but I've experienced enough and read enough to know that balance and moderation are the key...not complete elimination of any of those things.Health Question & Answer
