Question: Day 5 without carbs and I feel sick and weak, what should I do.?
I am female, 5'9, 20 years old and weighed 129 pounds this morning. I have cut out carbs for 5 days now (apart from small amount of vegetables and yesterday I had some blueberries). This morning I have woken up feeling weak and sick and can't stand the thought of eating eggs or something low carb. I just want to eat a bowl of cereal or something. Switching from burning glucose to ketones often makes one feel weak and sick but it won't last. Please be sure you're eating enough calories and fat. You don't need to cut out all carbs- just the starchy ones. Berries are a good choice too- but a CUP or so is a serving. Try adding more cruciforous veggies (broccoli/cauliflower/cabbage/brussel sprouts) and root veggies (not potatoes) like garlic/onion/carrots. Carbohydrates provide energy for our bodies, and more importantly our brains. Our bodies are not supposed to function on low carb diets. Low carb diets, while they might seem effective, are not actually healthy. Introduce some carbohydrates back into your diet. Make sure they are healthy - whole grains such as rice, spelt, whole wheat etc.

Eat some cereal. For starters, you most certainly aren't overweight at your height. Any good nutritionist will tell you that cutting out any major food group absolutely is not a good way to diet. Eat good healthy food of all kinds. Watch your portion size and don't deny yourself a bite or two of something "sinful". Exercise and quit worrying about your weight.
