okay, I'm 15 years old.
& this man says I should keep it in the 65% range for fat burning,
which is what i'm looking for, so what is my target heart rate.?


and also,
When to excersise.?
I'm talking about cardio,
should I hit the gym in the morning before i eat anything or after.?

after I strech of course,
and what are some tips.?

Answers:
The best way to burn fat is to combine cardio and weight training. Cardio is good for fat loss but you need weight training to build muscle to burn extra calories and to help weight loss.

You should eat something before you work out. You don't want to accidentally lose muscle if your body goes into a calorie deficit.

Most important is not to over do it. You don't want to get injured. It takes lots of time to lose fat. The weight loss for everyone is different. Some lose alot very fast while others lose 1 lb or less a week. Trick is to keep at it and not to give up - you'll see results but like I said it takes time.

Don't forget to relax and cool down after your work out too.

In response to the person mentioning eating less - don't drop below 1200 calories a day. I have seen people crash diet and harm their health. Sometimes not eating enough can make you keep weight on. (Our bodies can go into starvation mode if we don't eat right.)Health Question & Answer
