hi, believe me .. im a mum and if my son came to me with same thing i'd be taking him to the doctors my self.. dont be embarrassed this is your health!!!! nothing more important.. depending on how old you are you could go your self.? or try asking an older friend or relative to go with you.. please just speak to your mum or dad.. you have not got to into details just say its hurting or something down there.. but you need to sort it, you'll prob find its just a cyst or something but better to get it checked... xxxxHealth Question & Answer

Well, I know the feeling. I had this problem when I was in high school and had my first yeast infection. I didn`t want to tell my mom, obviously.

I called and made the appointment for myself at the doctor. I am not sure how old you are....then I told my mother that I wanted to see the doctor for something private, and that I was growing up and there were things I needed to deal with myself. Of course she pestered me about it and I told her that if she wanted me to tell her things and let her in on things, she had to respect my space and that I would tell her when I felt comfortable.

Good luck! Just stand your ground, tell them you don`t mean any disrespect but that there are some things that one would rather keep private.Health Question & Answer

I agree with others, go ahead and tell your parents. It may be embarrassing, but you'll be surprised how quickly that goes away :) They'll be glad you did and so will you. Heck, they'll probably share some of their own embarrassing stories with you!Health Question & Answer

Don't be embarrassed. Trust me, parents understand and they'll be happy you said something. You'll be more embarrassed if you don't say anything and your dingy falls off.Health Question & Answer

Hey dont be embarrassed! Speak to your parent you feel closest to or another trusted adult. If you really feel you cant talk to someone then go to the dr alone. Hope all is ok.Health Question & Answer

Be honest. Tell them you have some possible health issues and are concerned your pecker may drop off any day now. They will understand.Health Question & Answer

1. Go alone, without your parents.

2. say you have a cold so they take you then say "i'm old enough to go in by myself!"Health Question & Answer

Don't be embarrassed I am a mum and if my soon told me this I would take him to the doctors my self ,you should not leave this problem unsolved it can get worse, get it checked with your parents or an adult you can trust, your health is more important than your embarrassment. good luck.Health Question & Answer

Just be direct and to the point. These people changed your diapers, and I'm sure that your health is their #1 concern -- you shouldn't feel embarrassed about wanting to get a health issue taken care of.

When I was about 14, I noticed a small red bump on the side of my penis. Showing that to my parents was not my favorite thing to do, but I did it because I was more worried about what might be wrong than I was embarrassed. Turned out to be no big deal, but I'm glad I went to them and that they got me in to see a doctor. Whatever embarrassment you might feel will be very short-lived, but if it is something serious and you put off telling someone, it could affect the rest of your life.Health Question & Answer
