Quit smoking, should i feel like this?!

Question: Quit smoking, should i feel like this.?
I have been a non smoker for over two weeks now and today and yesterday i have been feeling so down. Im not wanting a cig or am upset about not being able to have one, just feel dead emotional.
Is this common.? how many other people have felt like this whilst quitting.? I got into a right crying state last night over something so silly and not even to do with fags!!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It is extremely common to have weird emotional responses that make no apparent sense to quitter. Getting tearful, angry, restless etc.
You are doing well, it is a come down symptom. Please don't go back to the fags, this will pass! also, it may be a January thing, it is crappy, miserable month after all!Health Question & Answer

Think this is normal. The cigarette you used to smoke blocked out your true self.

Now you are a none smoker you will have the ability to live life to the full, and experience what it's like to be human, without the need for a quick fix of a cig.

It can be a hard road ahead, but think positive, you have proved you can quit, keep up the good work, and let your emotions control your life, not the cigarettes.Health Question & Answer

I've been a non smoker for 3 months and I felt the same way. After talking to every ex smoker I knew, I figured that after having cigs as your crutch for so long, its actually you grieving for the loss of your "friend" or "Stability" You will get over it!!! Good luck!!Health Question & Answer

just normal, it takes a long time to get used to not smoking. Don't think that you can have just one as a treat you will be smoking full time staight away.Health Question & Answer
