Help to reduce scarring after an accident?!

Question: Help to reduce scarring after an accident.?
Hello everyone. i was in an auto accident earlier today, I cut my face up pretty bad and the plastic surgeon said I have some skin that is going to die.

Does anyone know some tips on how to save this skin or how to at least reduce scarring a bit.? Vitamin E.? Cocoa butter.? Dietary changes.?

Thanks so much to anyone who can help me. Sorry for any misspellings, typing with one hand since I broke my collarbone :/Health Question & Answer

I had a cancerous growth removed this summer from my face and it left a big scary hole on my cheek so I asked the dermatologist about those creams like Mederma that are supposed to reduce scarring and she said not to waste my money because they are a big rip-off! Her advice was to just use vaseline for about a week or two and I swear within 2 weeks I couldn't even see where the growth had been. Try it, it's cheap and it works!!!Health Question & Answer

Sorry to hear about the accident and hope you heal quickly.
I have a friend who was recently involved in a quad accident and fractured his hip and has some serious scarring.
As strange as it sounds, the ointment or rubs used to reduce celulite and stretch marks has done him more good than ANY other product on the market.
I'm sure there might be something out there specifically for scars though.
Good luck and all the bestHealth Question & Answer
