i think it's a toothache. I had the same problem 3 weeks ago. Your filling probably fell out and the nerves are revealed again, which means your probably going to have to get your filling replaced! The reason your pain has started again is because when you sleep more blood flows to your head because your body is horizontal, and when you exercise more blood flows to the head, hence why you usually turn red after a hard workout. When there is an increased amount of blood flow in the head or any part of the body you usually feel an annoying throbbing sensation.

I recommend clove oil, or try taking some ground clove or the actual clove itself and put it on the tooth for a while. You can try swishing warm salt water a few times a day before bedtime also. Aside from your OTC pain relievers such as tylenol and ibuprofen, there isn't much else you can do, but I wouldn't see the same dentist. At any rate, I hope you feel much better soon, those toothaches are always the worst!Health Question & Answer

I had the same problem for a number of years. It wasn't until I went to see a dentist (when I finally got the insurance to do so) I found many teeth needing to be taken out because they were really bad, so bad it was into the roots.

Most likely food particles have gotten down between your teeth and the gums which aggravate and cause inflammation in the gums. I know it causes allot of pain, after a while it migrates to your head and creates the migraine. Either way you should consult a dentist. If you're wanting to manage the pain until you can, my dentist had told me to rotate Ibuprofen and Tylenol every 4 hours (Ibuprofen then four hours later tylenol and then 4 hours..you get the idea) until your pain is managed. It helps with the swelling and pain.Health Question & Answer

My husband had a problem like this about a year ago. He would bite down on his tooth while eating and it would cause him horrible pain and then he would develop a migraine. He ended up going to the dentist and needing to get a root canal. After he did that, he no longer had that pain again. It could be something with your teeth that you just cant see. My husband had lost a crown and food got into a small hole in his tooth that caused it to deteriorate from the inside, something he couldn't see. So maybe it would be your best bet to go to a dentist and tell him what's been going on.Health Question & Answer

It is possible that the pain is caused by a problem with one or more of your teeth, but it is also possible that you are suffering from a thing called 'transferred pain'. This is where you feel pain in a different area to where the problem really is. (sometimes throat infections cause pain in the ears) Your best bet is to go and see either a dentist and get your teeth checked out, or go see a doctor and take his advice. Hope this helpsHealth Question & Answer

unbeliveable what a toothache can cause. i had such a horrible toothache, that my ear hurt i was about in tears, along with headaches...the joke of the matter is my tooth itself didnt hurt that much, but that was the root of all my problems. you may just want to go to the dentist and get some xrays and see whats going on inside there. to be on the safe side. it will avoid infections and further pain if it has to do with your teeth.Health Question & Answer

are the teeth sensitive to cold.? when you tap them are they reacting.? If either are true, you need a root canal on those teeth. I think that may what it is bcoz I have had nearly every tooth in my head root canaled. And sometimes it is tricky. I will go to the doctor who sometimes diagnoses things like mumps...and then my endodontist tells me it just a tooth. start with dentistHealth Question & Answer

this sounds more like a toothache than a migraine toothaches are funny and since the ear nose and throat are connected that's probably why you have the pain ear i'd visit a doctor you probably need to be put on some antibiotics .Health Question & Answer

Maybe you fractured some teeth....? I fractured some of mine a long time ago and now they give me migraines! I would go to the dentist and have them ex-ray your teeth and jaw.Health Question & Answer
