Question: How to get rid of thigh pain.?
My job requires me to sit continuously for 7-8 hours with 5-10 minutes break in between and also i travel a lot between my home and workplace (3 hours both ways), lately i have developed a strange kind of strain all over my legs especially in the thigh area which bears lot of pressure while i sit in my chair/bus. I coudn't sit more than half an hour on a strech because of this. Around 3 months back i suffered a hamstring injury while playing football but i ignored it after taking few medicines for one week. Could it be the aftermath of that injury.? What are the plaussible solutions.? Do medicines help or i need a physiotherapist.? Please help!!!! I am suffering :-(Health Question & Answer

Its probably a combination of things - but to receive a proper diagnosis I would recommend seeing a doctor.
Your probably feeling pain from stiffness of being in the sitting position too much and not enough exercise. I'd suggest moving around and getting mobile.
also, massage therapy can increase circulation to your areas of pain and help relieve your current symptoms. Your injury may be flaring up again because you sit so much it is always in the same position, thus it is getting little use or blood flow. I suggest exercise and massage - drink lots of fluids/ h2o as well.
If the pain is increasingly worse, consult your physician. I'd also apply heat and ice, or using Icy-hot or alternatives for pain relief. also, Tiger balm or some other alternative may be helpful! I would only use drugs as a last resort!Health Question & Answer
