Question: How often do you get headaches and intense are they.?
Im 22 and i have headaches almost everday that last almost the whole day. i got tested for everything and im all clear. do you have something similiar and how do you deal with itHealth Question & Answer

I have stress related headaches which show up negative on all my tests. I do stretching exercises which relaxes my whole body, I also do warm massage around my neck area, I try to relax in a quiet, dark room without any TV, noise and this helps tremendously. I also put both of my hands in extra warm water (like dishwater) and it seems to pull the pressure from my head )It's weird but it works also gets the dishes done. also use a humidifier at times. Hope this helps but I try to avoid medication and use home remedies they always help. My friend does take meds and she uses Ibuprofen it always helps her without using harsh medications. Another friend uses Imitrex which is a prescribed med and it helps her migraines. Hope this helps but everyone tries to get relief in their own way.Health Question & Answer
I used to get headaches frequently. Have you been to Get your eyesight checked as having headaches can sometimes mean you need glasses. Similarly if you have glasses already go back and make sure your prescription is correct.
Another cause of headaches is dehydration so make sure you're drinking plenty of water - remember thirst is one of the late signs of dehydration so don't wait 'til you're body tells you you're thirsty.
Another reason I used to get headaches was if is was getting too much or not enough sleep.

yea i get em all the time im 19 and have had em since i was 6 my parents took me to the doctors and they couldn't find anything wrong with me
i get em almost every day and they last from 4 hours to all day and the next
sometimes their jus little ones
other times there so intense i have to stay in bed in comlpete darkness with no sound

I BARELY EVERY GET THOSE TYPES
i get mirgrianes
i have to sleep about 17hours
not eat or throw up
take a excedrin tension headache
for that day and the next 2 or i get a otheer one
and no ligghts what so ever for those 17 hours.

in my case, i get dehyrdated and lightheaded VERY easily
so ive noticed that when i dont drink enough water throughout the day, that i get headaches
