Lower back excersises...?!

Ok, im trying out for volleyball and I need to be more flexible in my back because ill be bending over alot. so does anyone have any good exersises to help me.?Health Question & Answer

Since I'm a gymnast I know some methods to help. You need some stretching exercises. Do bridges, seal stretches, and shoulder stretches to loosen up muscles. Do some arch rocks. You need to lay on your stomach and have you arms behind your back or by your shoulders, so they won't touch the ground. Then, rock back and forth on your stomach. It sounds weird but gymnasts has different kinds of stuff to help. also, lay on your stomach and lift your legs up and down without bending them. You can do this with just your upper body as well. Just make sure that you have your legs together and tight. You can do reverse sit ups with someone holding your legs. Find a ledge, like the end of your bed or something high enough so you won't touch the ground. Since you are going to be on your stomach, you need to scoot up so that your upper body hangs over the ledge. Scoot up to where your hips or upper thighs are hanging over. Make sure that your partner has a hold of you so you won't fall off. Do about 20 of those and everything else being said. Do 20 3x's. It will also help back muscles too!!Health Question & Answer
