i used to cut,
but know im doin better but my scars are in a very controlled obvious
pattern,
the straight lines make them hard to explain,
they arent deep, but i need help with this,

I think you need to be truthful as, if you're not, this will be viewed as being secretive plus, of course, the M.D. will know the truth. Your acceptance would, most likely, be based upon whether or not you've seen a mental health professional regarding this problem. Cutting happens when people haven't the ability to cope with, or come to terms with, painful emotional issues and, as being in boot camp is cause for emotional stress, you may be judged as not having the ability to appropriately.handle the situations which may occur. buy some scar removal creams
or try a skin tone liquid bandaid or make~up concealer to shade scar into skin tone
or just tell the truth, it's something of your past (congrats on that, btw, I can't even imagine that but good for you for doing better, stay at it) & there's nothing that says that can be used/held against you, right.? Maybe it would be a good idea, so you can have someone to discuss it w/ & keep being positive about not doing it.Health Question & Answer

I think the only answer to go to that is the real answer. If you try to make something up it would seem unlikely that it's true and the doctor isn't dumb obviously so they would know what was up. Just better to go with what really happened, they won't shoot you for itHealth Question & Answer
i think you should just explain the truth to him/her..... and let them know you are better now and what not... i mean you might have to be evaluated for your mental status anyway so dont' sweat it too bad ... neway good luck and i am happy that you were able to stop cuttingHealth Question & Answer
Just tell the truth, but to lessen their appearance either get some scar removal cream or put a bit of make up on them.Health Question & Answer
