You will feel a little pinch, it doesn't last but a matter of seconds. When you get blood tested from your finger it's only a drop, when it's a blood draw from the arm it's usually a vial or two. Unless of course you mean you want to test your blood sugar using your forearm. Then it hurts much less than using your finger.Health Question & Answer

Blood tests always sting because your arm is pierced albeit a minuscule piercing but it is nevertheless pierced by a needed....so yes, there will be a stinging feeling which depends on how easily the nurse can find your vein and and how well the nurse performs this test.

There is no getting away from the sting.Health Question & Answer

Blood taken from your arm generally only hurts as the needle goes in. Pretty similiar to a finger stick which hurts when the needle picks your finger. Blood work normally is done within a minute, if they can not find a good vein, though it may take longer to do.Health Question & Answer
