Pierced ear lobes myself but pus around the back of earrings is it infected?!

Question: Pierced ear lobes myself but pus around the back of earrings is it infected.?
I pierced both my ears myself with a needle that ive burned for 30 seconds and cleaned it with sea salt then with alcohol and dipping in hydrogen peroxide (yes i went extreme to not get infected). Then ive cleaned it every single day with either hydrogen peroxide or alcohol i'd make sure they would get inside the hole.

Then my parents found out that i had my ears pierced and i only had it pierced for about 6 days and i just lost my earring studs. So i used these needles that ive cleaned very very very good and well (The needles are thick and are from a Professional compas thingy that makes perfect circles).

Now today ive noticed on my left ear the one that hurts a bit more then the right ear that it has this pale yellow pus that i think is an infection but i don't know the right ear is a clear pus and i havent seen any yellow that much. but both my ears have been bleeding when i take (not dripping bleeding but like enough to see it) out the needles because ive put in needles a bit bigger then the original stud itself.

They dont hurt at all to me when im at school out anything. I just cleaned it with alcohol alot and ive put sea salt in my ears for 5 mins each on each ear.

So is it infected and also is putting a compas needle a good idea to prevent the hole from closing up because my parents dont want me to have ear piercings. What can i use instead to keep it from closing.? (also one of the needles is some how magnitised)Health Question & Answer

Unless your lobe is red and hot to the touch, it's probably not an infection. What you're seeing is probably lymph fluid, and it's very normal. I would suggest not using alcohol (or peroxide really) on your piercings as it's too harsh and might actually hinder the healing process rather than help. Antibacterial (antimicrobial is better, but antibacterial will work) once every other day, as to not dry out the piercings, and sea salt (not table salt! please!) soaks at least twice a day will keep the piercings clean and healthy. You need to keep a stud or earring in for at least 4-6 weeks, otherwise the holes will just close up. If you DO have an infection (I highly doubt it though), you will need to go to the doctor for antibiotics, and you should NOT take the studs/make-shift earrings out until after the infection is gone... otherwise you risk trapping the infection inside the piercing, where it will spread and become a bigger issue. I really think it's just the normal healing process though. Good luck. I hope your parents let you keep them. :)Health Question & Answer

I have lots of piercings. :)Health Question & Answer

yeah, a little bit of pus at first is normal. but i would definitely put some studs or something in and KEEP THEM IN all the time for 4-6 weeks (i think that's what they recommend). then after 6 weeks have passed, you can start changing the earrings to whatever you want. this will help your ears to heal and piercing hole to stay open.Health Question & Answer

A Friend of mine back in elementray school somehow put strands of galric in her ear. Since she was having a reaction.

I say go to your doctor since an infection can lead to something bad. If your parents don't want you to have any piercings then you can let them close and repiece when you're eighteen. Otherwise you might lose an ear.Health Question & Answer

Pus=infection that is all there is too it. Get antibiotics.Health Question & Answer

yes, puss IS infection.Health Question & Answer

It sounds like they are infected. However, I have found that cheap ear rings left in too long can also do something similar. So maybe it is the chemistry of the needles that is causing it. Proper ear rings are usually made of silver, gold, or other recommended metal, and can be left in.
So I would say your main problem is what the needles are made of.
Maybe your best bet now is, to let it all heal up and wait until you have grown up, got a job, and left home before trying to do it again.Health Question & Answer

They are probably infected. No big deal, just clean them regularly like you are doing. Don't put anything in your ears that isn't made for them, you're just asking for trouble. Either respect your parents wish and let the holes close or if you want to rebel only put in studs, preferably gold and hypoallergenic. Once you do that do not take them out! They are supposed to stay in for a specified amount of time to facilitate healing and prevent infection. (I can't remember how long, ask a professional). These are wounds in your body and you need to stop messing with them until they heal.Health Question & Answer
