Aloe Vera will actually aggravate the symptoms and cause the healing to be prolonged.
Use some cold packs (not direct ice).
If it's blistering, it's a second degree burn and you should go to the ER and have it looked at, so that it doesn't then become infected (which is VERY common).Health Question & Answer

I've found SOLOSITE and Burn-Aid - burn creams - to both be highly effective in relieving the pain caused by burns, particularly sunburn. I'm not sure what's locally available to you but your pharmacy should stock a tube of it or something similar.

Use After Sun Lotion, a good make is Piz Buin's 'After Sun Soothing Lotion', although any make will do. Or if you don't have anyway nearby use a good moisturiser. It stings when you first apply it, but it stops your skin from peeling and eventually relieves the pain.Health Question & Answer

You either put moisturiser on it, have a cold shower or put this stuff called 'Aftersun' on it. You can get that from the Chemist. They may sting for a little while but then all you have are the redness no pain. Works for me. Hope that helps :)Health Question & Answer

And try not to move alot, and not wear long sleaves, wear tank tops or somthing, if it's on your shoulders.
