Question: Help! We cannot find a medication refill.......?
and we have turned the whole house upside down!
The medication is for our 3 yr old girl .. It is anti-seizure medication so we really need it bad!
We have some left but not enough for another month ..

Talk to you doctor first.. They may have enough samples of that particular medication to get her through a month.. If not they will have to give you another prescription.. At this point you will have to battle it out with the insurance company.. They usually will let you slide once in a while in situations like this.. If worse comes to worse you may have to pay for it.. If you don't have the money, the pharmacy will set up a payment option for you..Health Question & Answer
Explain to your pharmacy what has happened.. I sure they will do whatever they can to help you.. I completely understand your concern because my husband has seizures and absolutely has to have his medication.. We have been on vacation and had to ask pharmacies to help us out because he lost them.. They have always been very helpful.. It depends on the pharmacy and your insurance, but typically if you tell them you lost the bottle, they will refill.. You may have to pay a higher copay.. Call the pharmacy and explain..

The pharmacy would have no problems filling the medication.. It is not a controlled medication, most likely.. You'll just have to pay for it..Health Question & Answer
I have lost my medication a couple of timeand the insureance would not pay for the re-fill put I got it re-filled with out a problem though the pharmacy......I just had to pay cash for it..Health Question & Answer

They should be able to refill it.. Go in and they will pull up your file.. I always get my refills at totally random times due to my schedule.. I just go into Wal-Greens and they hook me up..Health Question & Answer
