Question: Should i make a big deal.?

iv had constant dull back pain for the last 2 weeks...... and a stabbing sort of pain in my stomach but i only get that only so often, i have to pee alot and iv drank loads of water, been on antibiotics for a week but they didnt work so they gave me stronger ones, but its been hurting like hell tonight, a friend suggested i go to A&E and ask for a kidney scan...... but i think thats probably making too much of a big deal.. what could i do.? the pains getting worse over tonight..Health Question & Answer

If the pain is in the area that your kidneys are located, then it might not be such a bad idea to go to the hospital, explain what's been going on, and say something like......"I don't know if it's my kidneys, so maybe a scan.?" If you're in pain then the thing to do is to get to the root of it and get better.. Dr's and nurses are there to help, and if you have some idea of what it could maybe be, that can only be helpful to them..
So don't worry about making a big deal about it.. It's your body, if you're in pain you have a right to get medical attention..Health Question & Answer

Definitely go to your doctor and get yourself checked out.. I'm also not clear on the fact that you've been prescribed antibiotics unless you have an infection.. If you are being treated for a kidney infection and are still having a lot of pain, something more serious could be wrong.. Don't wait - get thee to the doctor..Health Question & Answer
