How can I cope with me being really nervous?!


Question: How can I cope with me being really nervous.?
School is comeing........ that can only mean papers,reports will be handed out...... I can do reports that I just hand in.... But oral reports or when I have to get up in front of the class and have to talk or something......

Things that Happen to me:
- sweat
- stumble over words
- I seem to lose breath
- forget my own name
- tap my foot
- When i'm up there I have to swallow a lot for some reason

any ideas on how to resolve this problem.? I mean...... my projects and reports are good.. I never get a A- or lower becuase I start them when I get them.... but if I present them I get so nervous and I feel like i'm goign to die up there of embarrassment.... though I allready have a few times but I don't want to anymore......

okay.. personally i get really nervous too.. like you do, the best thing to do is practice in front of a mirror and getting up in front of your family helps to the more and more you do it the more comfertable you get and always rmber its not the worst thing that could happen be confident in yourself.. and also know your deff.. not the only one..Health Question & Answer

I got over this with a big smile and said screw this and just do it
eventually it would go away

this is not a problem because I don't forget what I say

Practice controlled breathing.. This tends to have a calming effect (for me at least).. People tell me to practice deep belly breathing...... it's where you use your diaphragm to breathe..Health Question & Answer
