Head injury with black eyes...ouch!?!

Four nights ago I bumped my forehead really hard as I was getting into my car.. I immediately got a huge bump on my head and the pain was excruciating! I put ice on it and the swelling has gone down quite a lot but I still have a knot on my head.. I checked my eyes for signs of a concussion and they were fine.. I called the doctor and the nurse said to come in if I felt dizzy, naseous, or if I had slurred speech.. I feel fine, but I still have a lingering headache and I feel a little wierd.. I also have two black eyes.. My question is......when will my face go back to normal.? The bump has gone down a lot, but my black eyes are looking worse.. I had to go to the store today and everyone looked at me like I was an alien.. When will my black eyes go away.? Any tips on how to make them heal faster.?Health Question & Answer
