Question: For my story.......?
How does it feel to break a rib.? How long does it take to heal.? And what things to doctors do for it.? I'm fairly sure there's no cast or anything, right.?Health Question & Answer

well i have never broken a rib
but i have bruised it and i mean it hurts to breathe,
but since u broke it
and usallly

Signs and symptoms of a broken rib include pain, especially when taking a deep breath or pressing on the injured area..
In most cases, treatment of broken ribs is directed at controlling the pain until the fracture heals.. Broken ribs usually heal in about one to two months..
If however you have any worrying symptoms such as these or start to cough up discoloured spit, do get checked out by your GP..
If you become short of breath you should call for an ambulance as it may be that the broken bone has punctured the lung..
