I have fallen arches?!


Question: I have fallen arches.?
The fallen arch is mostly is my left foot.. When standing or walking for long periods of time the outside of my left ankle hurts.. I have orthotics and I am wondering if there is any other ways to correct it or at least ease the pain.?Health Question & Answer


Answers:
The first thing you should do is strengthen your arches and the surrounding muscles that help to support your medial arch.. The simplest thing to start with is toe curls.. Start gathering a towel with your toes (scrunching your toes) and perform this about 5-6 times a day.. You should also look up resistance exercises that involve internal and external rotation of your foot.. (A little hard to describe without pictures).. Hope that helps..Health Question & Answer
