I recommend that you see a doctor.. Most sunburns are classified as first degree burns, but once I sunburned so severely that it was bubbled up and when touched clear liquid would run out.. I went to the doctor and was told it was a 2nd degree burn.. I was put on antibiotics as your skin is your first line of defense against bacterial infections and if it's burned that badly, you could end up with a serious infection..

As far as what you can put on it to soothe it, since it's so bad I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending anything.. Please see a doctor..Health Question & Answer

hi.. the skin on our chest is rather sensitive, what you are explaining is normal, i would suggest that you apply nivea cream, i had a friend who's skin was damaged as a result of burns and the consultant recommended nivea.. It has great moisturising properties and helps relieve discomfort and scaring.. i hope this will help.. regards mabesHealth Question & Answer

Yes, and it will soften back to normal in time.. You must have got scorched badly!
in the meantime......MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE!!!!! Get a good and thick lotion.. (Hawiian tropic has a new nice one called Lime Coolada, or try any of the nivea lotions.. they are good quality..)
Hope this helps!Health Question & Answer
