my bf used pure aloe vera gel before bed and in the morning, that worked for him, salt water sounds like a good idea to disinfect it, but don't use soap to clean it.. get someone to rub in the aloe vera gel after the salt water.. a little sun helps too..

on another note, when I had pimples (thankfully I don't anymore) I used clearasil and it made them worse! I think clearasil is terrible stuff..Health Question & Answer
