Question: I have minor fire burns.......?

ok so im 15 at the dumb teen age and me and my friend were spaying axe body spray and holding lighters up to it i thought it was a bad idea but i said well i try once and i flicked the lighter on and the huge flame got my pointer finger i dont needa hospital its not that bad but here is my quistion what eles can i do to relive the pain i used a little aloe gel on it and puting ice on it it hapend about 9 hours ago thanks for all the helpHealth Question & Answer

go to the pharmacy and tell them you need some burn cream- for a 3rd degree burn they should help you find something.. I was electricuted and gad two burn holes in my hand that they considered 2nd degree and they only gave me cream and wrapped it, so............
there won't be any skin grafting or anything like that

Now, some advices..

Are you sure that the scorch is not that bad.?
If the skin is black and scorched, you'll better visit an hospital..

If it is not..
Ok for the aloe gel..
Use the ice not directly on the skin (it could make it worst), but wrapped in a cloth..
You can else use a cold water flow directly on the skin..
After cleaning the burn, wrap it with sterile dressing..

The scorch should improve in a pair of days.. If it isn't the case, again, consider visiting the hospital..Health Question & Answer
